Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Love Business and KuKu Connect back Nachural Entrepreneurship Awards

Business networking organisations Love Business and KuKu Connect have given their backing to a leading awards scheme which aims to celebrate the success of entrepreneurs across the East Midlands.

The Nachural Entrepreneurship Awards will recognise and reward the achievements of the region’s key individuals and organisations with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Now in their third year, they are all about celebrating the ideas, innovation and strategic thinking of local entrepreneurs to business leaders, the media and investors across the East Midlands.

The winners will be announced at a glittering black tie gala dinner on 27 September, at the Maher Centre, Leicester.

Love Business and KuKu Connect are backing this year’s awards.

Since starting in 2012, Love Business has forged a reputation as the region’s biggest and best B2B expo, which brings businesses and development opportunities together under one roof, as well as helping companies stay connected throughout the year via a series of events and showcasing opportunities.

KuKu Connect, meanwhile, offers a fresh alternative to traditional business networking. It is a vibrant membership network which connects businesses and entrepreneurs at exclusive reception events in some of the region’s most luxurious, hand-picked locations.

Ninder Johal DL, Managing Director of events and media production company Nachural, said:

“The Nachural Entrepreneurship Awards were created to connect, influence and celebrate the excellent entrepreneurial activity that is driven by businesses across the East Midlands.

“What makes our awards unique is the diverse mix of businesses that are represented, from a broad range of sectors, size and ethnicity.

“We believe it’s vital to showcase the vibrant business community we have here in the East Midlands so are delighted to have the backing of both Love Business and KuKu Connect, two organisations which share the same values as us.”

Steve Megson, Managing Director of Quiet Storm Solutions, and founder of Love Business, said:

“These awards really touch and engage people, they stimulate collaboration and this drives economic growth. Local entrepreneurs need to be celebrated, which is why we are pleased to be backing this year’s awards.”

Philip Brooks-Stephenson, Director of KuKu Connect, added:

“The Nachural Entrepreneurship Awards are less about rewarding the businesses and individuals which are making the most money and more about celebrating the hard work and innovation of the people and with businesses that are less well-known or who don’t enjoy such a high profile.

“They are all about business people who are following their dreams and putting their business ideas into action, which is why we have supported them since their launch in the East Midlands with Sir John Peace.

“As well as providing effective networking opportunities, we aim to help support the wider East Midlands community through self-employment and entrepreneurship initiatives, so these awards are closely-aligned to our values.”

The Nachural Entrepreneurship Awards 2019 will be launched at an evening reception at the newly-refurbished Marriott Hotel, in Leicester, between 6pm and 8pm, on 12 June 2019. For more details and to book a place, email [email protected].
